Working Poor Families Project Policy Academy: Income and Work Supports Policy

Elizabeth Lower-Basch, senior policy analyst, and Abigail Newcomer, policy analyst with the Workforce Development team at CLASP, will facilitate a policy academy on state strategies of improving income and work supports to state representatives to the Working Poor Families Project. The full day academy will be held June 30 in Indianapolis, Ind. It will include background information on the importance of and barriers to receiving income and work supports, outreach, screening, models of services delivery and opportunities for state policy reform.
