Low-skilled workers need adult education, postsecondary education, and job training to develop skills and secure good jobs. When these systems aren’t in sync, it creates barriers to success. That’s why CLASP works with states, federal agencies, and colleges to develop career pathways—linked education and training services that enable students to advance to higher levels of education over time. Career pathways create economic stability and mobility by providing on and off ramps, allowing people to enter the workforce and return to education and training opportunities when it’s best for them.
