Ending Poverty, Not Welfare

Elizabeth Lower-Basch, senior policy analyst for the CLASP Workforce Development team, will present Ending Poverty, Not Welfare during the Women for Economic Justice Congressional Briefing on TANF Reauthorization on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Washington, D.C. Ms. Lower-Basch will discuss the importance of access to education and training, including postsecondary education, and the role of subsidized employment in helping low-income parents escape poverty.
