Neil Ridley, senior policy analyst for the Workforce Development team at CLASP, will present How Your State Can Avert Layoffs and Save Jobs: Implementing Work-Sharing Under the Layoff Prevention Act of 2012 at the EARN conference on Tuesday, December 11.  Mr. Ridley will review new federal legislation and explain how states can qualify for their share of federal dollars to implement or expand work-sharing programs. This program will be critical for state worker advocates who will face this issue in upcoming state legislative sessions.
