CLASP submits in response to Oklahoma’s Sooner 2.0 Healthy Adult Opportunity (HAO) waiver application and raises serious concerns about the effects of the waiver, as proposed, on the coverage and health outcomes of Medicaid beneficiaries in Oklahoma. CLASP strongly urges Oklahoma to proceed with their planned Medicaid expansion, as provided for through the State Plan Amendment submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and cease all plans to implement the provisions outlined in their HAO waiver application.
