Lauren Walizer
Lauren Walizer was a senior policy analyst with CLASP’s postsecondary education and workforce development team, where she worked to ensure equitable connections between students with low incomes and affordable and quality postsecondary education programs. In this role, Lauren analyzed and advocated federal policy that supported this goal. Additionally, she provided technical assistance on how to create systems change in states and institutions, in order to better give students with low incomes opportunities for economic mobility.
Lauren previously worked at the U.S. Department of Education and holds an MSEd in Education Policy and a master of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. She also has a B.A. in Political Science from the George Washington University.
