Fatoumata Keita

Director of Development

Fatoumata Keita is CLASP’s director of development. She brings to this role extensive experience with development strategies, managing diverse portfolios of funders, and advancing equity-centered work.  

Before coming to CLASP, Fatoumata was the director of development at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, where she led the implementation of the organization’s fundraising plan. Prior to that, she was the senior manager of foundation relations at the National Women’s Law Center and has also worked at the AARP Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies, among other organizations. 

Fatoumata graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a B.A. in Business and Government and earned an MPhil in Gender and Women’s Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
