Dashel Lewis was a legislative policy associate with CLASP’s legislative affairs team. He provided support in outreach, lobbying, bill tracking, and advocacy.

Prior to joining CLASP, Dashel was a political research associate for the nonprofit Vote Smart, where he supported the organization’s civic education initiatives. Dashel has also held positions at CQ/Roll Call, the City of Takoma Park, the National Institutes of Health, and Health Affairs.

Dashel graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in government and politics.
