Wisdom and Wine Event at CLASP: Fighting U.S. Poverty- Lessons from the U.K. Experience

CLASP recently launched "Wisdom and Wine" events at our office that bring in experts to discuss research, advocacy, lessons learned and communications tips on a range of issues that affect low- income people. On June 1 from 5:30-6:30 p.m., "Wisdom and Wine" will feature Jane Waldfogel who will discuss her research on how the U.K. was able to cut child poverty in half after a poverty reduction target was set in 1999, and she'll explore lessons for the U.S.
