Comprehensive Services for Infants and Toddlers

Rachel Schumacher, senior fellow for the CLASP Child Care and Early Education team, will present during the National PIRC 2009 Project Director's Conference July 23, in Washington D.C. at 4 p.m. The presentation will provide participants with research on the importance of a comprehensive, cross-systems approach to supporting learning and development of children ages 0-3.  Ms. Schumacher also will discuss how participants can identify and tap into comprehensive early childhood community resources to connect to their early childhood parent education programs, to share strategies about coordinating services for young children and to discuss policy implications for their states.
