Today, as the Supreme Court hears oral arguments on whether to uphold an injunction blocking the Trump Administration’s termination of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, we reflect on what citizenship means in absence of papers.

On June 4, 2019, the U.S. House passed the Dream and Promise Act. This is a key win for over 2 million people with long-term U.S. roots.

The Dream Act of 2019 and American Promise Act of 2019 would support economic security and wellbeing for DACA beneficiaries, TPS holders, and Dreamers as well as their families.

The Senate has introduced two bills to support Dreamers, DACA Recipients, TPS holders, and DED holders.

DACA beneficiaries and TPS holders are caught in a state of uncertainty about their futures. Every day Congress and the Administration fail to act, they further endanger the economic security and wellbeing of immigrant families.
