The Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) submitted this letter on August 31, 2018 to Senate Judiciary Chariman Grassley and Ranking Member Feinstein to express our organization’s strong opposition to the appointment of Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States. His appointment will have a devastating impact on people with all levels of income, but particularly for children, women, and families across the country who are low-income.
