CLASP opposes the Department of Homeland Security’s proposed regulation regarding fee waivers. The proposed changes to fee waiver criteria will impede individuals from obtaining immigration benefits, to the detriment of their and their families’ long-term economic security and stability. We urge that the rule be withdrawn, and that current guidelines remain in place. CLASP submitted these comments to the Federal Register on November 27, 2018.
