Researchers found that employment rose and school enrollment fell last year among U.S.-born teenagers who fit a demographic profile suggesting that their families were vulnerable to immigration policy.

The Center for Law and Social Policy, an anti-poverty think tank, recently published a research brief presenting an analysis of the employment and school participation of teenagers in 2024 and 2025, with a focus on teens with parents who aredescribed as “likely undocumented.”
