Travel

Washington, DC is served by two major airports: Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Dulles International Airport (IAD). 

The city is also accessible via Amtrak.

Within the city, attendees can get around using the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). The WMATA Metro serves Reagan airport; from Dulles, attendees will need to take an express bus and then a Metro train.

Accommodations

A block of rooms has been reserved for convening guests at the Churchill Hotel at 1914 Connecticut Ave. NW in Washington, DC.

The discounted room rate is $249 per night plus tax. The rate is the same for single or double occupancy.

The room block is available for the nights of September 24, 25, and 26. Convening attendees may also receive the discounted rate for September 21-23 and September 27-30, as space in the hotel allows.

To reserve your room, call 1-202-797-2000. You must mention group name Center for Law and Social Policy to receive the discounted rate.

The deadline to reserve rooms is Friday, August 25, at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time. 

Both the Churchill Hotel and the fhi 360 Convention Center are near the Dupont Circle Metro stop on the Red Line. The hotel and the convention center are catty-corner across the street from each other.
