On May 29, Becca Ullrich and Wendy Cervantes spoke at the first annual “Early Childhood Symposium: How Immigration Policy Impacts Young Children” at the Brooklyn Public Library in Brooklyn, NY. The seminar and panel discussion will focus on how current immigration policy affects child development and engagement in the community and classroom, along with addressing key findings from our 2018 report Our Children’s Fear: Immigration Policy’s Effects on Young Children.
