On January 11, 2022 Tiffany Ferrette participated on the opening panel for the 2022 Policy Connect Annual Retreat entitled “Building & Sustaining Transformative Policies: Where We Are, Where We’re Going, & How We Get There.” The session created space to digest where we are in January 2022 in terms of federal investments in children and families and reflections on what can be celebrated and what work still needs to be done. Tiffany discussed the importance of centering racial and gender equity  in policies and systems, opportunities in the Build Back Better bill and other future investments, and equitable community engagement strategies.
