On May 5 and 6, 2015, Christine Johnson-Staub, Stephanie Schmit, and Christina Walker presented at the 2015 National Smart Start Conference in Greensboro, NC. Topics included: Implementation of the reauthorized Child Care Development Block Grant and state subsidy policies; the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program’s impact in expanding home visiting, while helping grantees build infrastructure needed for implementation; and disparities in access to early childhood programs by race and ethnicity.
