Beth Barefoot

Senior Manager, Finance and Administration

Beth Barefoot is the Senior Manager of Finance and Administration for CLASP. Growing up in Oklahoma she witnessed gender and social injustice first hand, which became the driving force behind her early activism and chosen career in the political field. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Women’s Studies, she worked on the Boren for Congress race as Operations Manager. The successful campaign led her out of the plains to Washington, DC where she spent three cycles at the DCCC as Deputy Chief of Operations, Administrative Director for Senator Mazie K. Hirono, Director of Administration for the data and analytics firm BlueLabs and most recently, Director of Finance and Operations for the non-profit DirectWomen. She finished her law degree at Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law in 2016 and plans to take the Maryland Bar Exam in 2018. Beth lives in Alexandria with her apolitical husband and two children.
