NAEYC Professional Development Institute: Presentation on Best Practices for Engaging Families in Children’s Early Learning

On July 11, 2014, Christine John Staub presented Engaging Families in Children’s Learning: Best Practices for Each Stage of Early Childhood and Reaching the Most Vulnerable at the National Association for the Education of Young Children Professional Development Institute.  The presentation discussed research surrounding family engagement for children from birth to grade three—particularly for vulnerable and low-income families—including how best practices differ depending on the age of the child, as well as related policy and practice implications at the federal and state level.
