ASAP Southern Learning Community
The ASAP Southern Learning Community was launched in September 2019 to bring together state advocates to learn more about increasing access to Medicaid and SNAP through administrative policy changes. We are excited to be working with all of you and look forward to the discussions over the coming year.

- Sample Notices for Medicaid Expansion Enrollment – As Virginia developed their notices to send to people likely eligible for Medicaid expansion, CLASP funded consultant work to modify the notices to incorporate behavioral science research. MDRC provided input to Virginia on how to edit their notices to increase their reply rate. Below are four notices – the “before” and “after” versions. You are welcome to share these materials with your state agencies.
