With a year to go before ObamaCare takes effect, we have many questions to answer: Are employers incentivized towards a more part-time workforce? Is this an across-the-board concern or concentrated in certain sectors? Is there on-the-ground research that helps predict how jobs might shift from full time to part time? And, if this shift to part time really is -- or becomes -- a problem, are there remedies?
CLASP, Families USA and the University of California Berkeley Center for Labor Research and Education hosted this audio conference to explore these and other questions.
Guests:
- Cheryl Fish-Parcham of Families USA and
- Ken Jacobs of UC- Berkeley's Institute for Research on Labor and Employment
- Carrie Gleason of the Retail Action Project
