Increasing access to work supports and other public benefits such as food stamps, EITC, child care subsidies, TANF, and Medicaid can help families living on low incomes gain vital income and services. At OMB, the Partnership for Program Integrity Innovation has $37.5 million dollars for pilot programs to both reduce overpayments and to increase access. At the White House, the Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships has recommended the creation of an interdepartmental taskforce to simplify the application and eligibility process for public benefits.
