In 2004, CLASP surveyed states with mixed-delivery pre-kindergarten programs to understand the policy choices, opportunities, and challenges of including community-based child care providers in their pre-k programs. Below are individual detailed descriptions of each of the 28 states’ responses to the CLASP survey on the state policies used to integrate pre-kindergarten into community-based child care settings. The data reflect state pre-k programs as of 2004, when the survey was administered.
