Data include information on programs, participants, families, and staff for all Head Start programs in each state, including preschool, Early Head Start, American Indian and Alaskan Native, and Migrant Head Start. Please contact Elizabeth Hoffmann at ehoffmann@clasp.org with questions about the PIR or for additional data.

For national data, see the fact sheet, Head Start Participants, Programs, Families, and Staff in 2006. For information on Early Head Start, see the policy brief, Supporting Families, Nurturing Young Children: Early Head Start Programs in 2006, and the fact sheet, Early Head Start Participants, Programs, Families, and Staff in 2006.
