Below are individual state pages analyzing child care spending from the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds used for child care in federal fiscal year 2005 and in previous years, as well as details on CCDBG participation by state. This analysis is based on data that states reported to the Administration for Children and Families, available at http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/ccb/data/index.htm.
