Dorothy I. Height's Life's Work Embodied CLASP's Core Mission
Following is a statement by Alan W. Houseman, executive director of the Center for Law and Social Policy, regarding the death of civil rights icon, Dorothy I. Height.
"The death of Dorothy I. Height is a great loss for the nation and for those who believe that all people residing in the United States should be treated equally and with dignity and respect. She is among the few who have provided great leadership in our country's efforts to overcome racism and poverty and who had the moral authority to move people to action."
