Elizabeth Lower-Basch, senior policy analyst and policy coordinator at CLASP, appeared on CSPAN's Washington Journal to discuss poverty in the United States today, including where it is most widespread, as well as programs in place to combat poverty, including food stamps and other forms of government assistance. She was joined by Veronique de Rugy, senior fellow at George Mason University's Mercatus Center.
