National Smart Start Conference

Staff from CLASP's Child Care and Early Education Team will present at several sessions during the National Smart Start Conference in Greensboro, NC May 2-5, 2011. The National Smart Conference provides professional development for early education leaders committed to improving the quality of and access to early childhood services for all children.
Danielle Ewen, director of the Child Care and Early Education team at CLASP, will present Home Visiting with FCC Providers and FFN Caregivers: Current Models and Potential Partnerships on May 4 from 8 - 9:30 a.m. Ms. Ewen will also present with Helen Blank from NWLC Implications of Child Care Directors' Perspectives of QRIS on May 3 from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
Hannah Matthews, senior policy analyst at CLASP, will present Caring for Babies: How State Subsidy Policies Can support Continuity of Care on May 4 from 8-9:30 a.m. Ms. Matthews will also present with Karina Fortuny Young Children of Immigrants and the Changing Landscape for Early Education also 5:30 p.m.on May 4.
