Building Healthy Communities Through a Focus on Young Men and Boys of Color

CLASP experts will present in several sessions during the Building Healthy Communities Through a Focus on Young Men and Boys of Color conference on Sept. 28 - 29 in Los Angeles, Calif.
Linda Harris, director of Youth Policy at CLASP, and Amy Ellen Duke-Benfield, senior policy analyst at CLASP, will present during the session, Building Stronger Pathways to Economic Opportunity for Young Men and Boys of Color on Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 - 3 p.m. This panel will explore various social policy interventions that seek to improve the educational and economic outcomes experienced by young men and boys of color.
Rhonda Tsoi-A-Fatt, senior policy analyst for the Youth Policy team at CLASP, will present during the session In Their Own Words: The Real Experiences of Young, Disconnected Males of Color on Sept. 29 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. This panel will explore various social policy interventions that seek to improve the educational, health, social and economic outcomes experienced by young men and boys of color.
