Good Jobs and Better Lives for D.C. Young People

Linda Harris, director of Youth Policy at CLASP, will participate in the Brookings Institution panel, Good Jobs and Better Lives for D.C. Young People, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at 2 p.m.  in Washington, D.C. The panel will discuss what are the implications of high youth unemployment and low high school graduation rates for public schools, postsecondary education, employers, nonprofits, and government agencies?  And what are the short- and long-term changes and investments we need to make to turn the numbers around?
