"Food stamp beneficiaries aren't them - they're us"

Research published in the November issue of Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.reported that between 1968 and 1997, 49 percent of children received food stamps at some point before they reached the age of 20.

James Weill, president of the Food Research and Action Center,was quoted by the Associated Press in response to the study as saying :"What I hope comes out of this study is an understanding that food stamp beneficiaries aren't them - they're us."
