Fiscal Boost to Government by Educating High School Dropouts
The cost to governments of educating adult workers and disadvantaged youth is a high-return investment. By 2020, if 4 million dropouts earn a high school diploma, the net fiscal contributions to the federal government and state and local governments would exceed $25 billion annually.
