Transitional Jobs

Transitional jobs provide a path to employment for individuals receiving cash assistance, ex-offenders, homeless people, veterans and people with disabilities. These programs combine time-limited, wage-paying jobs with comprehensive services including case management, employment supports and education and training. These services are designed to prepare individuals for work and equip them with the skills and support they need to enter and stay in the work force. CLASP is a member of the National Transitional Jobs Network and advocates for comprehensive programs that prepare individuals for work and equip them with the skills necessary to navigate the work place and secure and maintain employment.
