Andrew Mulinge

Research Assistant, Youth Policy


Andrew Mulinge
is a research assistant with the youth policy team of CLASP. He provides research support and analysis on various issues related to youth of color and youth in poverty. Mr. Mulinge most recently interned for the Executive Office of the Mayor through the Justice Grants Administration, where he worked closely on a truancy reduction initiative for elementary school students in Washington D.C. He is also directly involved with providing mentorship to young African-American men through his leadership in the Youth Scholar Academy which is a subset of the Institute for Responsible Citizenship, a program for high-achieving, collegiate African-African. Mr. Mulinge received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland (College Park), where he majored in Government and Politics and minored in African-American Studies.
