Andrew Mulinge

Research Assistant, Youth Policy

Andrew Mulinge is the Research Assistant for the Youth Policy team of CLASP. He provides research support and analysis on various issues related to youth of color and youth in poverty. Andrew most recently interned for the Executive Office of the Mayor through the Justice Grants Administration where he closely worked on a truancy reduction initiative for elementary school students in Washington D.C. Andrew is also directly involved with providing mentorship to young African-American men through his leadership in the Youth Scholar Academy which is a subset of a larger program for high-achieving, collegiate African-African men called the Institute for Responsible Citizenship. Andrew received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park where he majored in Government and Politics and minored in African-American Studies.
