Andrew Mulinge

Research Assistant, Youth Policy

Andrew Mulinge is a research assistant with the youth policy team of CLASP. He provides research support and analysis on various issues related to youth of color, youth in poverty and disconnected youth. He has served as a coordinator for a leadership development program for young African-American men in high school through his involvement in the Youth Scholar Academy, which is an initiative of the Institute for Responsible Citizenship, a national program for high achieving collegiate African-American men. Prior to joining CLASP, he worked on a truancy reduction program through the Executive of Office of the Mayor in Washington D.C. Mr. Mulinge received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland (College Park), where he majored in Government and Politics and received a certificate in African-American Studies.
